5G technology is not specified in any official document. 5G is standard of technology which is beyond 4G-LTE in the phase of mobile telecommunication and also known as 2020 mobile technology.
4G is still in infant in coverage and speed. We have not passed whole 4G now. We are now in middle of 4G. Now internet speed offered is up to 150 Mbps in LTE connections and moving to 300 in doubling LTE connections. Do we need more still? In 4G broadband speed is expected to be 1GB and no such thing faster than that.
5G will provide superfast internet speed with no drops in connection, regardless of the number of concurrent users.
Compared to 4G, 5G offers faster internet speeds ranging from 10 Gbps to 100 Gbps, as well as lower latency. The lower latency is crucial for real-time, responsive scenarios, such as quick server responses in multiplayer games. Additionally, 5G benefits from globally reserved spectrum bands, allowing smartphones to operate on the same bands across different countries.
The deployment of 5G is expected to begin by 2020, primarily for business applications, although there might be potential delays of 2 to 3 years. The implementation of 5G involves a broader spectrum allocation for wireless networks, which is a fundamental research aspect for its success. Let’s remain optimistic for a promising future.
