There are different reasons for rough skin. Such as Weather, Coarse clothes and etc.

The main areas where the skin become rough are hands, heels, upper arms and face.

Here are some of the tips through which you can make your skin smooth.

Don’t  bath with too cold or too hot water because it can cause your skin dehydrate.

Use warm water and adjust the temperature of water  to 115 °F.

You can use mild soap.arHhhh

Harsh soaps generally dry your skin which also cause this problem.

The best  thing to bath or wash with is the liquid soap rather than a solid soap(Bar soap).

Avoid your skin from the over-lathering as it takes out the essential oils from your body.

Don’t bath two or three times in a day because it may cause irritated patches and dry skin.

Clothes are also responsible in skin roughness because woolen clothes can also disturb your skin.

Take your vitamins on your time. Vitamin C is also essential to make the skin smooth. So take as more as orange vegetables you can because the orange  vegetables contains large amount of Vitamin C.

Hydration occur due to drinking too much water  because too much water hydrates your skin and impurities are taken out from below the skin surface.

Don’t drink too much coffee it also makes your skin dry.

To reduce your skin dryness you can also use two or more than two drops of the baby oil to your  bath water twice a week.

You can also make the paste by mixing one table spoon of milk with 10mg of saffron and apply this paste to your rough areas of skin at night and wash this paste with lukewarm water in the morning.

You will definitely be able to get rid of your rough skin problems by applying the above mentioned techniques.
